- 8U (1st and 2nd grade) $95.00
- 10U (3rd and 4th grade - birth year 2002 and younger) $160.00
- 12U (birth year 2000 and younger) $160.00
- 14U (birth year 1998 and younger)$160.00
Player Evaluation is scheduled for Saturday March 2, 2013 at the WHS Varsity Turf Softball. Dan Kane, WHS Varsity softball coach and the WHS Softball players will facilitate the evaluation. This is for all players 10U, 12U and 14U. The specific time TBD.
Softball Coach Applications are due Feb. 12, 2013. If you are interested in coaching softball you can apply either on-line through the registration system (similar to player registration) or download the application from the Softball Home page, see link in the ‘Coaches Corner’ section and email completed form to wilsonvilleyouthsoftball@gmail.com
All 10U, 12U and 14U players will receive a New Uniform this season. We will have sample uniforms at the Player Evaluation on March 2nd to get accurate uniform size. Please note that the uniform fee is built into the registration fee this year. T-Ball players and 8U players are provided a T-shirt uniform as part of their registration.
Off-season Softball Pitching & Batting Lessons; Wilsonville Youth Sports Board of Directors has teamed up with two instructors who offer lessons for Baseball or Softball over the off-season winter months. The instructor for Softball skills is Coach Gary Edward; he will offer Fast pitch pitching lessons and batting lessons for beginners to advance. Contact Coach Gary by phone at 503-839-0515.
2013 Competitive Softball Teams; At this time, WYS will have competitive softball at the 10U and 12U level. These competitive teams will play approximately 35 to 40 game schedules, April to July as compared to the recreational team program of 12 to 14 game schedule, April to June. Competitive Team player fee is $350. Open tryout is scheduled for Sunday, November 11th.
